For those who wonder what goes on into recording a CD below is a rundown of expenses.

Preproduction / Scratch Tracking: 2 full days = $800

Professional Studio Musicians:

$300 per day per musician

Bed tracking: roughly 2 days (x3 players =$1800)

Studio time for bed tracks: $400 per day x 2 = $800

3 days of tracking vocals = $1200

Additional add on’s and Back Ground Vocals: roughly $1400

Mixing: $250 per song x 6 songs =$1500

Total budget for recording: $7500

Mastering, Artwork & Duplication
